Carla Lake

Lake Karla, or lake Voiviida (older) in antiquity Voiviis, located near the northern slopes of Mount Pelion, the boundaries of the prefectures of Larissa and Magnesia which drained in 1962. However, it was found that the impact on the ecosystem of the area was greater than the benefit offered by desiccation. Thus in 2010 began the resurgence and today is a beautiful wetland.
